Two operations are planned. The first operation, completed on friday, inserted bone crafts to repair, reinforce, and seal the the area around his initial operation last year. The first operation requires a recuperative period of approximately 4 months.

Once that recuperation is completed he will undergo a a second operation to actually repair the re-injured ACL. The second operation requires a recuperative period of 6 months. He will miss the Euros and the first half of the new LA LIGA BBVA season.

Humberto Suazo, Chilean International, former Real Zaragoza player, and current player for Rayados de Monterrey in the Mexican Primera will sit out the 2nd leg of the Concacaf Champions League Championship match due to yellow card accumulation.

Suazo has been critical for Monterrey in the Concacaf Tournament, leading the tournament in goals with 7, including 2 crucial goals in the first leg of the Championship match.

Suazo appeared in 17 matches and scored 6 goals for Real Zaragosa while he was there on loan during the 2009/2010 La Liga BBVA season. Real Zaragosa was interested in buying his rights but Zaragosa and Monterrey could not come to financial terms.

The inability for Zaragosa and Monterrey to come to terms has bothered Suazo and at the start of this season (Clausura 2012) he made clear his desire to be sold. He manifested that desire by being one week late in returning to training camp at the start of the season.
